Herbed Millet
Preparation time: 35 minutes
1 cup dry millet
21/2 to 3 cups water
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 small onion, finally chopped
3 small cloves of garlic, unpeeled (or 1 peeled and minced)
1 teaspoon sage
Put all the ingredients in a medium saucespan and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook 30 minutes or until millet has absorbed all the moisture of the water. It is a good idea to check it at 20 minutes, as sometimes the millet cooks faster.
